Each tablet contains:
Sulfadoxine BP…500mg, Pyrimethamine BP.. 25mg
Metafan is indicated for intermittent preventive treatment of malaria in pregnancy (IPT).
Acute falciparum malaria is potentially fatal.
3 tablets per day.
Adolescents (9- 14 years) 2 tablets per day
(4- 8 years) 1 tablet per day
(under 4 Years) ½ tablet per day
