  Metafan Syrup 15ml

  COMPOSITION:

  Each 5m1 contains:
  Sulfadoxine BP………..500mg
  Pyrimethamine BP…… 25mg

  INDICATIONS:

  Metafan is indicated for intermittent preventive treatment of malaria in pregnancy (IPT).
  Acute falciparum malaria is potentially fatal.

  DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

  Under 4 Years 2.5ml (half teaspoon)  as a single dose.
  Under 4 – 8 Years 5ml (one teaspoon) as a single dose.
  Under 9 14 Years 7.5ml (1 ½, teaspoon) as a single dose.
